Who is the Roof Hippie?
I started this website during the summer of 2019 because I wanted to help people like you to find answers to their roofing related questions.
When I first started as a roofer, I was at the bottom of the totem pole doing all the “grunt” work.
Since then I have worked as a project manager, marketing specialist, and hail damage inspector. I have worked on all types of jobs ranging from new construction to full roof replacements.
The companies I have worked with have consistently installed roofs on both residential homes and commercial buildings.
Despite my background in the roofing industry I still have much to learn. I believe in being a lifelong learner, striving to learn something new every day. That’s what I hope for everyone else too, and if I can be a part of it by sharing what I have learned then I will feel like I am giving back to society.
Why did you pick the website name roofhippie.com?
I admit that it was not my first choice. But I wanted a domain name that was short, easy to remember, and unique. Roofhippie.com met all of those requirements.
